“Faded Green” is inspired by the experience of being inside Austrian forests, where thin, tall trunks create rhythmic patterns and light filters through the treetops. Branches and leaves merge to create textures at once porous and solid, while the muddy ground blurs the footprints of a previous hiker. The path gets steeper the further you go and the heat overwhelms the walk. Rambling nature surrounds the weary step of the walker as the yellow light lashes against the ground.
Premiered by Anna Koch in “Paisajes Interrumpidos / Interrupted Landscapes” tour in Chile 2023.
